Rick is a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where he practiced for 13 years after graduation from law school. He was a partner with Grobmyer, Ramsay & Ross in Little Rock until 1999 when he became a shareholder of Eichenbaum, Liles & Heister, P.A. Rick’s practice involves Commercial Litigation.

He served as a United States Bankruptcy Trustee for 26 years and has expertise in Debtor-Creditor Law. He also has a general civil litigation practice. Rick has served as a faculty member of the Arkansas School of Banking. He has been very active in both the Arkansas and American Bar Associations, serving as Chairman of the Young Lawyers Division of the Arkansas Bar in 1986 and as President of the Arkansas Bar in 2007-2008. He served as President of the Southern Conference of Bar Presidents in 2007 and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Rick has been recognized in the area of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” each year since 2006. He is a pilot, avid duck and quail hunter as well as a whitewater enthusiast. He is a Certified Swift Water Rescue Instructor.
